Happy Monday!
Yup, that will remind me NOT to microwave, and I can keep this cheap, cute mug.

Busy busy
I haven't been consistent for a few reasons-
Blogging really does require quite a bit of time, and I haven't been able to fit it in the way I need to.
The past couple of months have been a little rough in my personal life, won't go into that (who really wants to hear it..haha)
And learning how to build a successful blog is not that easy, it too requires lots of time...not to mention the fact that I am not that tech savvy...also slows me down.
Anyway, with that being said, I'm here today to post a great recipe I conjured up myself, completely by accident, and because I was craving chocolate for breakfast, but wanted something healthy.
HOT COCOA OATMEAL!!! Yes, that's right, oatmeal that is like having a cup of hot cocoa..mmmm..warms the soul I tell ya:)
Ingredients for two servings:
1 cup oats ( I use the Quaker 1 minute brand)
1 3/4 cup of water or milk, whichever you prefer
2 tbs of unsweetened cocoa
2 tbs brown sugar (or more/less according to your taste)
1/2 tsp vanilla
Dash of cinnamon and nutmeg
Bring liquid to a boil, add cocoa, stir for about 45 seconds
Add oats, cook according to pkg
Add vanilla
Stir in brown sugar and add spices
That's it! It's soooo yummy and not too chocolatey..if that is even a word...yes it has to be..
I also added nuts to mine. Dress it how you want!
Enjoy :)

Peace out September!
Hello hello hello!!!
This month has been challenging for one reason or another, not really been in the mood..
Blame it on the age old lesson " if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"
And so I haven't...but I feel as if I'm going to explode! Exploding no es bueno. So, here goes:
Finally weaned Luke...much harder on me emotionally than I thought it would be...
Luke turned one year old, and the husband and I couldn't come to an agreement on a party...I wanted one, he didn't really want to participate financially..lol
Scheduled the party, only to have it rained out
Trying to lose weight...for real this time, down 8 lbs :)
Things are tight...clothes and money...hahaha
I am lonely during the week, but then my husband drives me crazy when he's here..
And the number one reason September can kiss my butt...
HONEY FORGOT OUR ANNIVERSARY...AGAIN...
and has yet to make it up to us..
Blame it on his job...is takes a lot from him.
So now that I'm over it all, I can have my Lukies party, and get excited about my favorite holiday...Halloween!!
Love to you all
Feli :)

Preschool
I have been at home with him for his whole life ( except when I got a job at a daycare for not even a year, and he went there too) and we are inseparable. I always joke that I don't know who's separation anxiety is worse, his or mine..probably mine :)
I knew he was ready to be with friends. He's a big brother now, and he's stepped into that role very surprisingly, never being jealous of Luke or the attention he requires. Yup, that's my baby..he's a big boy now.
I wanted to do this with our chalkboard, just like I've seen on Pinterest, but COULD NOT FIND THE CHALK!! It was where I left it, of all places :/

Mom Fail
Anyway, yesterday was just not gonna happen. I had been gone from my Luke, who still nurses, all day. Yes, he had bottles but at 5pm he no longer wanted a bottle or food, he wanted me. I was trying to get dinner on the table, or at least halfway there before I took Rey to practice, so Luke had to settle for my MIL..which he was just not having anymore. I got Rey ready, and dinner halfway there, had a screaming headache (as usual) and was almost out the door, when I said to myself "self, Luke needs you, look at him, he wants you too, as does everything else that goes on in the house, yea, tball is 5 minutes away..but go to your baby..he misses you" So in the chaos of it all, I didn't go.
Oh well..good thing is, he is only 4, almost 5, and if he plays all through school, he's got about 13 more years to play.
